Christian and Kara here.. We hope your year is getting off to a great start! We feel like we haven’t seen anyone in so long.. being tucked away and focused on building the house. It’s been a challenge to get out there. Photography and adventures have taken a bit of a back seat. Thankfully this cold winter has allowed for a little rest time. We hope to have our new home gallery ready for visitors this summer!

Today (January 2nd) – I get to celebrate the birth of the grooviest dude I’ve ever met. I know the world (and the Lake) is a better place for having him in it.
Christian – you capture the character of nature, the lake, the woods, the sky, in a way no one else can. You have a true gift and better yet, you share it with the rest of us. Thank you for helping us to see the world through a brighter lens.
I’ve discovered he’s not only my favorite photographer, but also, home-builder, carpenter, roofer, electrician, 3x-a-day-Menards-Run-Driver, Tool-buyer, Snow-mover, Cabinet-designer, Metal-worker, Almost-lost-a-finger-er and through it all, he has been so lighthearted and funny. It’s been a joy.
