Hello, I'm Christian Dalbec
I am a Lake Superior Photographer sometimes known for being ‘In and around the lake’. Leaving behind a life of alcoholism, I found photography to be a healthier obsession.
While photography might be the more expensive addiction, My life is better than it’s ever been. In 2015, I began experimenting with underwater and wave captures. Although Lake Superior is one of the coldest lakes in the country, you can usually find me photographing some beautiful sights from in that water. Whether its a gorgeous sunrise or sunset, waterfalls or icicles, surfing shots, and more, my hope is to show the Lake in all her glory spring, summer, fall and winter! I truly find a sense of joy in capturing those moments in time that will never be seen again.
My beautiful wife Kara and I live in Two Harbors, MN. We are a creative team, I’m the photographer, she is the web-developer/blogger. We’re going all in on our dream of living life slow enough to enjoy it. We hope you’ll find inspiration or at least a little joy following along on our adventures.
