Hello everybody, I’m Christian Dalbec and/or Christian Dalbec Photography if you don’t know me yet.

You might not know me to be a blogger – That’s my wife’s repertoire. But with some new ideas and trying to protect our sanity, we’ve come up with a plan to take the photography and the business somewhat away from social media, and all the noise that’s attached to it. Kara has built this website that we hope to direct everyone to as the ‘Christian Dalbec Photography Hub’ with a menu to products, blogs (like this one) and photo’s of the day etc. In the past we’ve been posting to Instagram and Facebook just like the rest of the world, and constantly, always focused on the number of likes and comments (which we still love) but we feel like we could give you more if we spent our time and energy on creating more involved stories and blogs that go along with our pictures.

With the way social media works, people are not able to see/ view us the way they used to. It’s always changing and has been hard to figure out how to be there for you… until now. Now, you can come right to us!

Our future plans involve creative stories about some North Shore history, that will include plenty of content and beautiful images, videos and short films and things that we’re currently involved in and have been involved in that you may not have known about. We’ll also keep you informed on gallery shows and events, with the (long-awaited) addition of North Shore Workshops!

We feel this will be beneficial for everyone to have a one stop spot for Christian Dalbec Photography.

My social media pages, will remain active through the transition, mostly to direct to this page/ events. It will function more as a page for our in-person gallery, something that will not take up as much of our time.

Some highlights to look forward to, Following The Photographer’s post on our 18+ hour trip to Waco, TX! And Exciting Surf Stills & Videos. We will have links to upcoming interviews, along with a spot for the past interviews.

If you’re looking to purchase art, be sure to check out inandaroundthelake.com or stop in to Sivertson’s Gallery in Grand Marais, MN or Siiviis in Canal Park, Duluth, MN.

I should be able to hear everyone now that the noise is gone! I can’t wait to see and hear from you now, over at Christiandalbec.com.

See you in and around the lake,

Christian
